Introduction
This policy explains the refund, cancellation and payment reversal conditions applicable to Aftersolves products and services. It applies to:
- Aftersolves Booking subscriptions.
- Website development projects.
- Custom software development.
- SaaS development.
- Maintenance services.
- Digital products and other paid services.
Different refund conditions apply depending on the nature of the purchase.
2
General refund principles
All refund requests are reviewed individually based on:
- The service purchased.
- Work already performed.
- Resources and expenses already committed.
- Project milestones completed.
- Subscription usage.
- Applicable contractual terms.
- Applicable consumer protection laws.
Payment does not automatically create an unconditional right to a refund. Nothing in this policy removes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
3
Aftersolves Booking subscriptions
Aftersolves Booking operates on a subscription basis.
3.1 Subscription cancellation
Customers may request cancellation according to the cancellation process provided for their subscription. Cancellation generally prevents future renewals but does not automatically reverse payments already processed.
3.2 Subscription refunds
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a subscription period has started or the service has been made available. Exceptions may be considered where:
- A duplicate payment occurred.
- An incorrect amount was charged.
- A verified billing error occurred.
- Aftersolves is unable to provide the purchased service.
- A refund is required by applicable law.
- Aftersolves expressly approves an exception.
3.3 Unused subscription periods
Unused days, partial months or unused subscription allowances are not automatically refundable.
3.4 Failed service provision
Where Aftersolves is responsible for a material failure to provide a paid subscription, we may consider an appropriate remedy, including a refund, account credit or other reasonable resolution.
4
Website development projects
Development projects involve time, planning, technical work and resources. Refund eligibility may depend on the project stage.
4.1 Before work begins
If a project is cancelled before work begins, a refund may be considered after deducting any disclosed, applicable administrative or non-recoverable costs.
4.2 After work begins
Once development has started, refunds may be reduced according to work completed, approved milestones, resources committed and non-recoverable expenses.
4.3 After milestone completion
Payments relating to completed and accepted milestones are generally non-refundable, subject to applicable law and the Project Agreement.
4.4 After final delivery
Once the agreed deliverables have been completed and accepted, payments are generally non-refundable except where a refund is required by law or expressly agreed in writing.
5
Custom software and digital solutions
Custom software projects may involve research, planning, UI/UX design, architecture, programming, database development, API integrations, testing and deployment.
Work already performed may be charged even if the client later decides not to continue the project. Third-party expenses, hosting charges, domain registrations and other non-recoverable costs may also be deducted where legally permitted and properly disclosed.
6
Non-refundable circumstances
Subject to applicable law, refunds will generally not be provided for:
- Change of mind after work has commenced.
- Failure to provide required client materials.
- Delays caused by the client’s lack of response.
- Failure to use a purchased subscription.
- Unused subscription allowances.
- Completed and accepted development milestones.
- Approved additional work already performed.
- Third-party costs already incurred and not recoverable.
- Dissatisfaction resulting solely from a change in personal preference after approval.
7
Additional work and revisions
Additional revisions, modifications and new features are separate services where they fall outside the agreed project scope. Payments for approved additional work are generally non-refundable once that work has commenced, subject to applicable law.
8
Refund request procedure
Customers requesting a refund should contact [email protected]. Please provide:
- Full name.
- Registered email address.
- Invoice or transaction reference.
- Product or service purchased.
- Payment date.
- Reason for the request.
- Supporting information where applicable.
9
Review and processing
Aftersolves will review refund requests and may request additional information. Approved refunds will generally be returned through the original payment method where possible. Processing times may depend on the payment provider, bank or financial institution.
10
Cancellation of development projects
Clients wishing to cancel a development project must provide written notice. The final amount payable will be determined by:
- Work completed.
- Approved milestones.
- Outstanding invoices.
- Committed resources.
- Approved additional work.
- Recoverable and non-recoverable expenses.
- The applicable Project Agreement.
Any remaining balance or refund will be calculated accordingly.
11
Chargebacks and payment disputes
Customers should contact Aftersolves first to resolve billing concerns. Unjustified chargebacks or fraudulent payment disputes may result in account restrictions or suspension where permitted by law. This does not restrict customers from exercising legitimate payment dispute rights.
